Kamera Express

I am extremely dissatisfied with the after-sales service at Kamera Express Amsterdam, particularly the way my delivery enquiry was handled. At the time of purchase, I was told that my camera and lens would arrive within the same week. More than a week later, I have received neither the equipment nor a clear delivery date, despite repeated follow-ups. On 8 October at 13:09, I called the Amsterdam store. The employee, who identified herself as Anna, told me that my order would arrive “one day.” When I explained that this was not a sufficient answer and asked for a specific update, she laughed and told me to be patient and call again later to check whether more information was available - we are talking of a purchase of almost 3k I then asked to speak with a supervisor or someone who could clarify the status of my order. She refused and ended the call by hanging up on me. The colleague who assisted me with the original purchase was courteous and helpful. However, the subsequent service has been deeply disappointing. A delivery delay does not justify dismissive treatment, laughing at a customer’s concern, or refusing a reasonable request to speak with a supervisor. I expect management to address this conduct and provide a clear delivery date. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Kamera Express, and I am considering cancelling my order and returning the other items I purchased.
